Hi Cath! Welcome. It's so weird when you find out about not being alone with this, right? A good kind of weird, though The UK is more up to date about dyscalculia than any other country (the states are about the same). But it is still unheard of, most places. I have no names of people testing, but I can give you links and emails to organizations I think maybe have an answer for you (if they don't, don't hesitate to ask me again, then I'll try to find other places). You can try this first; (taken from www.mencap.org.uk/html/information/info_and_advice2.htm)Learning Disability Helpline If you need help or advice on anything to do with learning disability - everything from benefits and housing options to local services - contact the Learning Disability Helpline. Oh, and I have absolutely no idea what it will cost, and yeah, "dis cal cu lea" sounds just about right It's hard to write how to pronounce it... I guess I say discalculia, but I don't know what others say. No one will beat you up if you say it in another way than they do, because I don't think anyone has THE answer Tomato, tomato
